Aftermath of the Kakhovka dam destruction in PICTURES
Floods smashed entire villages, damaged crops and killed domestic animals by the thousands.
Three people have been reported dead, dozens are missing. Tens of thousands of people have joined an army of more than one million homeless Ukrainians as a result of the destruction of the Kakhovka dam on the Dniepr River in south-eastern Ukraine.
