Sitting at an interview with NewsNation, Bannon confidently stated, "I’m a firm believer that President Trump will run and win again in 2028." When pressed about the constitutional term limits, he cryptically responded,

"We’re working on it.I think we’ll have a couple of alternatives.Let’s say that. We’ll see...We’ll see what the definition of term limit is."

Although a CPAC poll put Vice-President J.D.

Vance as the front-runner for the Republican nomination in 2028, Bannon predicted earlier that “on the afternoon of January 20th, 2029, Donald Trump is going to be president for his third term.”

He enigmatically avoided to respond if an insurrection is cooking up in the conservative camp around Trump, stating that he was not prepared to speak on the plan publicly right now, but added that the topic will be hot within a couple of months.
